  • First and foremost, the wedding consultant's job is to attend to every detail so that the bride
and groom can relax and enjoy their special day. This includes all of the days of preparation,
as well as, the big day itself.

  • Using the services of a wedding consultant does not mean giving up control of your wedding.
Instead, it is adding a very competent facilitator to your wedding staff. A wedding consultant
has the skill and knowledge to not only incorporate the most cost-effective ways to
implement your ideas, but also to warn you of pitfalls in your plans and offer suggestions.
  • Weddings are very complex emotional events. Even the most well-planned, beautifully
orchestrated wedding has some sort of emotional twist or turn that a consultant must
groom's families and circle of friends. In most cases, everyone involved means well, but they
are too close to the situation to view it objectively. That objective view is the job of the
    wedding consultant.

  • The wedding consultant is the one person who knows the most about the event. They act
as the main point of communication for all of the wedding professionals on your big day. It is
imperative that someone is literally on top of every finite detail and is keeping everyone
involved (i.e. photographer, caterer, DJ) on the same page and working together smoothly.
This gives you the assurance that there is someone in control at all times, which is an important
issue when it comes to dealing with a group of people (no matter what the occasion!). This is not
to say that the wedding consultant will rule the event with an iron fist, rather it means that she will
have the capability and the confidence in knowing all of the issues and their meanings as they
pertain to a particular wedding.

  • It takes hours to research and locate quality, low-priced wedding services and retailers. A
wedding consultant works with a network of professional service providers such as caterers,
florists, photographers and entertainers. The wedding consultant also assists the client in
areas such as proper protocol, etiquette, suggestions on designs and styles and any other
questions that arise. All of this is to help you create the perfect wedding day.
